Electrolysis is a permanent hair removal method using a fine sterile needle to deliver a small electrical current into individual hair follicles, destroying the root and preventing future growth.
It is ideal for smaller areas that require precision, such as eyebrows, facial hair, groin and pubic area.
Ursula is fully qualified in Electrology and has been using this method successfully for the last 40+ years, and more recently, with patients undergoing gender reassignment.
Ursula is licensed to carry out electrolysis by the Dundee City Council licensing board (renewing this license annually).
NHS Tayside has endorsed Ursula’s Beauty Salon via their Service Level Agreement 2025 – 2027 to provide electrolysis hair removal services to board patients.
